Did not like it at all...the copyright date was a year after her death and I wonder if someone doctored up the book and used her name...it was not like her usual writing which was in good taste without losing the meat. I could be wrong...but this did not seem like a PSB book.
If you like Pearl Buck, I am afraid you just might stop liking her that much after reading this novel.

Pearl Sydenstricker Buck (1892–1973) was a bestselling and Nobel Prize–winning author. Her classic novel The Good Earth (1931) was awarded a Pulitzer Prize and William Dean Howells Medal.
