Oh how I wish I could have a Coyle too!!! *sigh* too bad he is fictional! But I guess that is why he is so damn perfect! LOL What a HOT story! SUPER AWESOME!!! And yes, I will say it – I wish it had been longer!! It was so great!!! It has fantastic story, it’s magical, it’s funny, it’s both equal parts hot and sexy…and okay! I will be honest! Having it a shorter story did make it hotter and probably part of the reason I enjoyed it so much! But on the other hand, I ...more
As this is a novella I don't hold to the same standards I would expect from a full book and I did enjoy the story.
The heroine Deri is a witch from a family of Magik holders. She has been sanctioned for using Magik that harmed a human. The problem is she is innocent but can't get anyone, even her own family to believe her over Chad the slime ball responsible for the damage. Looking for a place to h ...more

This is a great book; it is the first book in the Druid Series by Mandy Roth. Deri is a natural born witch who was forced away from her home and told never to perform magic again. She was convicted of a crime that she was set up for by her ex. She runs away to a town called Grove Bluff that she remembers from her childhood. She starts working for the sexy Coyle O’Caha who ends up being a seven hundred year old druid sorcerer. They are instantly attracted to each other but they both do ...more

The story was good...though it could be better.
It was a short sotry that tried to fit 2 lifetimes and i think that Mandy was not succesfull at that.
Also at times i felt like i was reading a scrumbled book.
I was reading of her being there 2 months and all of a sudden she is there 3 years.
Then while having sex she tells him she is a witch and a few lines below he asks her if she is a witch.
The book had flaws but it was a good start to a series ...more

Lies are told, judgement is given. After being convicted and banned for misuse of her magic, Deri startes over in a little town that has always called to her. She needs a job, told the local pub is hiring she heads over. Coyle is the owner and a Druid, he and his family are charged with caring and keeping the local witches safe. When they meet it is nothing short of magical. The attraction is instant and confusing, Coyle can't mate with a "human" and Deri can't place a "human ...more

I have read alot of Mandy's work and she never disappoints. There were alot of questions unanswered here but I'm sure theres a reason that will be answered in the books to follow. I personally PLAn to find out. :)
What a fun well written book that had me itching to get to the next page/ the next chapter to find out what happens. The main character Deri is a feisty witch who has been banned from her family and is on the run from a very bad person. She lands herself in Cottage Grove where she finds herself looking for work at the small pub in town. Coyles and Korey are sure to make your heart race and your mind paint a vivd picture of their manly appearance. Highly recommend for anyone ...more
