This was a fun book to read. I think Sailors, and IC men in particular, will appreciate the Master Chief's recollection of his twenty-six years in the US NAVY. He begins his story in Boot Camp and it's obvious a few chapters in that this book is not just a collection of funny sea stories, he's actually paying tribute to the men and women who helped turn a young kid into an accomplished Sailor who went on to be a mentor to many as a Command Master Chief.
