I liked it - but it wasn't overly compelling. It seems to be as much about her husband's legal problems as an author of a controversial book, as it is about her bull terrier Wally. You do find yourself kind of warming up to this breed, which I was never partial to before (though I do love all dogs, in general) - but it shows you a lot of reasons why NOT to get a dog like this, too. This book was certainly readable and included some humorous and enjoyable canine stories. However, far too much time was spent discussing the author's partner's legal problems, which aren't what one expects to be the main focus of a novel with a photo of a bull terrier plastered on the cover.
