This book did not have as much mystery in it as I would have liked. There are diamond robbers coming to town and Lola Dog must find a place to hide her diamonds. I expected the story to be more about the diamond robbers, but was instead about Gloria Feathers being a big mouth and a lesson needing to be taught.

This book is for kindergarten. Children the graphics are great and to have the animals portray humans was interesting. The story was more about Glenda feathers than about diamonds. Although I'm sure that kids would enjoy the story.
