lJeffrey Preston's first novel is a suspenseful drama that will keep you guessing, even after you have finished reading it. Without giving too many details away, an eight-year-old girl who disappeared suddenly reappears mysteriously to the father, Stan. Is it really her? What happened to her? And why are they now being pursued by the government and otherworldly forces.

I will admit that I am not a big fan of sci-fi/supernatural books. I enjoyed this book, though, because of the well-drawn charact
