The calligraphic collection at the Sakip Sabanci museum in Istanbul is amongst the best I have seen, surpassing the collection on display at the museum of Turkish Calligraphy at the Bayezid complex, also in Istanbul. The museum collection offers a survey of Turkish calligraphic arts from the 15th through the 20th century.
