I hadn't realized that it was number 7 of a series. Anyway, it is a mishmash of humor, gore and family drama. Callahan Garrity is an interesting character -- former police officer, owner of a cleaning service, breast cancer survivor. This is the story of the murder of her long-lost brother's ex-wife, Shay. Similar to Sue Grafton, but situated in Atlanta...I just loved it. Am reading another one by her now.
She also goes by the pen name Mary Kay Andrews, but I like these detective books better than
the novels she writes under that name.
I forgot though; language alert! I have trained myself to skip over those words, because there are lots of them. other than that, strictly PG.

I enjoyed this book. I loved the characters. It didn't take me long to finish it.
Another murder mystery in around Atlanta, not quite as good as emIrish Eyes.
This book had all the elements of a great mystery!
Good mystery. I will definitely read more of the series.

I really liked this series of books. I'm sad that their is only one more book to go, then I will have to say goodbye to the characters.
