I liked this fine. It was an incredibly quick read. I found it on the shelves at the beach house I was staying at. The characters were cute. I was a little annoyed at the tremendous amount of miscommunication that occurred. Are there really marriages out there where almost every word one says is misunderstood by the partner? It became a little annoying, although I did become curious as to how this simply thought could be misconstrued - but then the writer would explain how it happened. It makes...more

This started out really well but Jamie irritated me so much,i kind off dislike her by the time i finished, keeps turning hot/cold towards Rich hurting him and making matter worse and complicated, anyways even after Jamie's hot/cold fluctuations which lead to misunderstandings they do manage to get their HEA

Okay read

Towards the end I couldn't stand the pouting cry baby of that Jamie woman anymore. Whining, misinterpreting, being a proverbial b***. This is the stereotypical hysteric female. What a waist of time.

I read the ebook version of this (i.e., without the cover seen above). Schmaltzy and predictable. Why oh why did I waste my time?

Cute, friends who discover love through the want of a child. Frustrating and funny at the same time.

I felt this book was just ok. Very predictable. No surprises other than all the miscommunication between the two main characters. That was very frustrating!

I have a friend who was in a similar predictament, but it got complicated, so she's exploring different avenues.

My very first of Debbie Macomber and I fell in love straight away. Borrowed it from my friend, I finally then became a bit desperate trying to find it since it's no longer available in bookstore. Thank God she decided to give it to me.
Some people might think it's cheesy and so-so ... but the combination of marriage-of-convenience, friends-to-lovers, sex-after-marriage, all three were my favorite theme, sucked me in.
It's definitely one of my all time favorite and I lost count on how many times I...more
