I have a copy of this talk and listen to it over and over, whenever I need a reminder to be kind to myself. David Whyte is one of my very favorite poets (and writers of prose). I love poetry and he has a way of weaving it into self exploration in a way that speaks to me so deeply. And I love how he celebrates other poets and uses their work as well as his own in this talk.
