First time author, W.C. "Dub" Hargis proves to be a master storyteller in the style of early century western writers. This story is based on two key characters: Two young men each from different worlds, both escaping abusive pasts and destined for better lives. A story of the hardships of the rugged frontier following the end of the Civil War. A story of friendship and loyalty.

Good ol' western novel! The story is moving, relatable, and the writing style reminds me of the old western movies. Highly recommended.
