This is an excellent book about suffering, evil, and why the world is filled with so much of both things. Harold Kushner is a genius, and I recommend this book to anyone whose ever wondered at the capriciousness of life. Kushner is a rabbi in Massachusetts whose young son was born with, and died from, a genetic disease. Of a great help for those who are living a tragedy that just happened for them they don't know why. makes us question ourselves , doubt in the existence of God , shakens our faith, and then by Kushner's way od dealing with this issue, strenghtens our faith back.
