The thing I liked about this book was its basis were not on romance/love, that's just a side plot. Umera Ahmed has brilliantly focused and conveyed the social , bureaucratic , political problems of pakistan. I really liked it.

Amar Bail was awesome. Aleeza & Umar have become my fav couple. The story was gripping and filled with a mixture of emotions. Loving it! Reading Again & Again! Umera Ahmed is now in my fav list. One thing that really wanted from ths novel was a happy ending, everything does not have to be over on death, corruption will continue! Painful Ending but still loving it! Something for everyone to read! Need to own a copy!!!

My first and last Urdu novel. The pain was unbearable. I'll never forget Omer! The main female character was a bit hollow, needed more depth and a clearer pov.

Though Novel taught me many realities of life and departments/organizations's approach-ability but due to the other gender's mourning about Umer Jahangir's death made me realize that the real purpose of the novel was Hi-Jacked. Characters was influential but novel was not concentrated but spread over many events. Mix reviews about it.

Too numb to write any review..
The sad part when you understand Author's foreword and knowing all odds still fall for them and as the foreword said ''lets repeat the mistake again''...and unintentionlly i did too.
