Kern (E.C TUBB) finally comes into his own in the 12th Cap Kennedy book. Superlative example of the classic zap gun tale with our hero chasing after a genetic scientist. A similar pattern emerges in the famous Dumarest series - Once the author is into his stride the series lifts and his polished writing becomes a seamless carpet. the characters resolve, the antagonists concretise in his imagination and off we go around the stars and you are that hero.
