Siblings are annoying. It's their nature, and there's no way around it. But third-grader Dessert hasn't realized that yet, so when she finds comfort and support from friends after her siblings have her in tears at the way they are ruining her life, she decides to start the Annoying Siblings Club and make herself president. Unfortunately, the annoying siblings may find a way to ruin even that. Whether they do or not, Dessert makes an excellent narrator. She's entertaining, sympathetic, funny, and...more

3.5. Dessert is eight and has three ANNOYING younger siblings, which prompts her to start the Annoying Sibling Club at school. In exchange for her friends' dues, she promises to solve their sibling problems. But unfortunately, her scheme doesn't quite work as planned. Cute, funny book that will bring Ramona to mind.

A cute follow up to Dessert First. In this story, Dessert is fed up with her siblings and all the mischief they get into and how they are ruining her life. So, she comes up with a plan and includes her friends that are also fed up with siblings.

Uplifting, lighthearted, endearing. For those that grew up with annoying siblings, or those that wished they had siblings. Another strong female lead who tries hard, gets in trouble, then tries hard to make it right.
Ella
