Siblings are annoying. It's their nature, and there's no way around it. This book does not have the most appealing cover, but Dessert is a very appealing main character. Plagued by younger sibling troubles, she starts a club at school to help her friends deal with their own sibling problems. Naming herself club president, she collects dues, and then begins to spend the money on herself, not realizing until it’s too late that this isn’t the way to run a club, and that her friends don’t like her much when she takes advantage of them. In exchange for her friends' dues, she promises to solve their sibling problems. But unfortunately, her scheme doesn't quite work as planned. Cute, funny book that will bring Ramona to mind.
A cute follow up to Dessert First. In this story, Dessert is fed up with her siblings and all the mischief they get into and how they are ruining her life. So, she comes up with a plan and includes her friends that are also fed up with siblings.
Uplifting, lighthearted, endearing. For those that grew up with annoying siblings, or those that wished they had siblings. Another strong female lead who tries hard, gets in trouble, then tries hard to make it right.
Dessert is haveing a tuff time with her siblings.
