This is the third novel in Kenneth Cameron's series of turn of the century British mysteries featuring the author/man of adventure Denton. It is set in 1903 admist anarchist plots, negotiations about a Jewish Homeleand in Uganda, the emergence of a natavist movement in England and the creation of the British intelligence services. Enjoyed it - good characters tho maybe better to have read the series in order, this seems to be about the third. May add the others to my to read list!
