All I Want for Christmas
Zeke and Zack Taylor, motherless six-year-old identical twins, are facing "real" school--first grade--and they are worried. Their father, Mac Taylor, is a builder who fixes up old buildings in their small town, and the boys are afraid he'll be too busy to help them out with the new demands of their school. They decide to write to Santa and ask for a mother. When ...more

Eh. For what it was, it was just okay. Nell really got on my nerves--she seemed to think that she was owed more than she actually should have been early on in their relationship--especially before they even had a relationship--and her attitude annoyed me. I know this is an early book (the boys talk about watching a tape of The Little Mermaid), but neither this book nor the more recent one I read by her really did "it" for me. Disappointing.
What a cute Christmas love story! The narrator almost ruined it for me. Good thing I had the book from the Used book sale at the library. Plug. Plug. Go visit your local library.
Anway, it is exactly what it proclaims to be with a little touch of Christmas magic. I only wish there was an Epilogue (I am addicted to those things!). I would have really enjoyed seeing them in a few years preferably with the heroine preggers.

This was a short story from Nora in the 90s. Being a pretty short story, I don't think there was enou...more
I was feeling a little sentimental with the holidays here and all so I decided to read a Christmas story. This was a little too sentimental for me though. It played out too much like a Hallmark movie and the characters seemed very two dimensional.
Parts of this little Christmas story were good, but for the most part it was abrupt and a disjointed. I enjoyed the dialogue, but the plot carrying it was weak.
Good. Cute Christmas novella pub 1994 in Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells. The narrator left a lot to be desired.
Christmas story about twin boys who ask Santa for a mom. Fluffy little Christmas story.
Simple, happy love story with mildly diverting plot. Light evening's entertainment.
Something to listen to while I'm doing some computer work.
A really quick, cute and predictable story.
This was a short Christmas novel. It had some parts that were cute.
