I really miss those years when my daughters were just learning about foods, their textures, smells, and, of course, their tastes. I miss the days when my daughters squished through their food and tossed food everywhere when I let them explore on their own. Those days are long gone for me, but for you who have babies now, there is a new baby recipe book that you should definitely check out with your babies. And, that's important.

Natalie found this book at the library and refused to let it go. I'm not sure if it was the character on the cover or the baby or the dishes and food, but she carried around with her until it was time to go. Once we got it home, we read it once and she hasn't asked to see it again, even though its been around. I like the idea of this book. It has several recipes for baby friendly foods that baby can help make. Baby's role is usually mashing. Natalie is a bit old for this book, since we don

Our story times include tots so I like to begin with a book that is a one-size-fits-all.
This cardboard book features children, verse, and silliness -- perfect!
A dvd and recipes are included, but of course we skipped these features.
