Ok, I admit I'm not a fan of books set in fictional kingdoms. There are too many ways the stories can go wrong. But this story set around the royal family of the kingdom of Niroli wasn't too bad. This one is, I believe, 4th in the series and I hadn't read the previous ones. There were lots of references to events in the previous books that weren't fully explained. Last year, I read Natasha’s book, Crowned: An Ordinary Girl and enjoyed it very much. I picked up The Tycoon’s Princess Bride, but I was worried that I would have problems following a story that was part of a multi-authored series. I needn’t have worried.
