My Soul to Keep is the book you want to buy for keeps! Kohler’s series focusing on half breed lycans will make you howl with delight! This fourth installment in her Moon Chaser series is not to be missed!

Sorcha has always dreamed of a better world. Her malicious father dictated her life and determined her future whether she liked it or not. When all she really wanted was her father’s right hand man Jonah. Always Jonah. To Sorcha, he was everything. Her love, her guardian and her protector until

WEAKEST BOOK IN THE SERIES.
You know that scene in the movie Moonlight where Cher's character slaps Nic Cage's character when he says he loves her and she yells "Snap out of it!" Well that's this book. The main character Sorcha was so silly, so infantile, so -- useless, I kept wanting to slap her silly and yell those same words to her. Jonah and Sorcha (sheesh even her name annoys me) were introduced in an earlier book and their characters held promise. I had hoped that theirs would be a great st

Paranormal Romance - Aug. 31, 2010
4 stars

This is a fantastic series. My Soul to Keep is officially the 4th full length novel in her Moon Chasers werewolf series. (There is a short novella in the anthology Haunted by Your Touch coming out in Oct 2010.) What sets this series apart is that the werewolves are not noble creatures of the earth but savage, mindless, and violent. So instead of being celebrated, they are hunted down. All except for

Sorcha is half-human and half-lycan, a dovenatus. So is Jonas, her father's second in command. Sorcha's father is the Alpha of their pack and his word is absolute. Sorcha was promised to Jonas as his future mate, and she adores him. Jonas, though he cares for Sorcha, knows she is too young yet for a relationship.

When Sorcha is fifteen, Jonas turns from her. He doesn't feel she is ready yet for a relationship and her heart is broken. When a fire breaks out, she uses the distraction to run, even

My Soul to Keep is the 4th book in the Moon Chasers series. It was a slight disappointment for me, as I really enjoyed the previous books and was so happy to see another edition was being released this year. I was interested to read about Jonah and Sorcha who were seen throughout the previous books.

Sorcha is the daughter of the twisted Ivo and meak Danae. Ivo has long since gone a bit crazy, trying to take over the world in one way or another. The prologue takes us back to Sorcha's 13th birthda

As a child, Sorcha adored Jonah, her father's second in command, and when he rejected her advances, she ran away from the cruel life her parents forced on her. That act of rebellion saved her life, but she'd watched the fire that destroyed the palace and killed her family and Jonah. That was before her transition--the coming of age for a hybrid lycan/human called a dovenatu--before she became strong and beautiful.

Twelve years later, after her elderly husband is torn apart by a demon, Sorcha set

Sorcha was raised under the iron fist of hjer father, Ivo. He spent his time takimg over as many packs as he could so that he could build an army. He promised Sorcha to his right hand man, Jonah. But Sorcha was to young at the time. When Sorcha is 15 she offers herself to Jonah, she is heartbroken when he turns her down and runs away for home. About a block away she turns back just as her home exploses. She thinks she is the only one left of her pack. She ends up living on the streets until a ...more

This is a fun werewolf/shifter series! My Soul to Keep is the fourth installment within the Moon Chasers series.

As a child, Sorcha was terrorized by her family. Her father was a strong, slightly crazy, alpha who seemed bent of conquering the werewolf world. Her family viewed her as weak, but Jonah, her father’s right hand man, protected her. Growing up, Sorcha had a crush on Jonah, but he didn’t return her feelings – he always viewed her as a child.

Years later, Sorcha and Jonah meet aga

3.75 stars. I struggled just a smidge through the first half of this book. I'm not sure if it was because it ceased being mostly about lycans and more about witches and demons, even though the two main characters were hybrids. Of course, I know this was a set up for the last two books in the series, but I originally started this series because it was about werewolves specifically. After the halfway point though it picked up and I enjoyed it much more. I'm always torn on how I feel about second ...more

I have to say it was interesting to see who the main couple was in this book. I wondered from the last book if they would show up.

I find it interesting that Jonah always had a thing for Sorcha, but was repulsed by what her father wanted her to do. It makes me think so much better of him for it.

I felt sorry for Sorcha, when she ran she certainly escaped death, but it left her so alone in the world. It was nice to see she was able to find someone to provide a home and safety she never had.

Pretty good continuation in the series. I’ve missed a story here and there so I find I have a harder time connecting to the world built and some of the secondary characters that may have been introduced in earlier stories. Other than that, I really liked the conflict built between the hero and heroine. They both had extremely different agendas and there was really no way to bridge the gap for them but they had a connection that couldn’t be denied. I did wish to see more of the love story, I felt ...more

All right, so far so...eh...ok I guess. There was nothing much to on really. Jonah was all right and basically the only thing I liked. Sorcha wasn't really all that and a bag of chips. Plus, the ending sucked ass (not in a good way).

I am also wondering when Darius is going to come in. So far, I am just dying to read his book. He needs to have his happy story with some exciting adventure to get his mate. I just wanna read Darius!!!

Book 4 in the Moonchaser series. Now, granted I I haven't read any if the previous books in this but I have read one or two of the short stories I think. This is not a series where you have to start at the beginning - I was not lost at all. This was a good but not great book. I never really felt involved although there were some surprises here and there. Overall it's your standard Paranormal Romance, tortured souls and all.

This one was not as good as the previous three. Jonas was such an interesting character in the previous book, but in this one his character was flat. I will stick with this series but I hope the next one will be better.

I just couldn't get into this book. I greatly enjoyed the previous three books but this just couldn't hold my attention. I liked Jonah but Sorcha got on my nerves. She was just too whiny and insecure. Here's hoping this next book is better on all counts.
