Raunchy is a heartbreaking story of failed mother and daughter relationship. This was the first book I read by Author T. Styles and definite would not be the last. This book was so good it was hard to put down.

Cornell Phillips is a well known drug dealer, married to Estelle along with their five year old daughter. They live in quiet estate at Concord Manor. When at the tender age of five, Harmony is abruptly taken away from her home by her scorned mother, her world is rocked. Without her father'...more

Raunchy contain just about every raunchy deed a person can commit. This story has incest, child abuse, pedofiles, STD outbreak, teen age pregnancy, murder, baby swapping, drug dealers the list goes on and on. Harmony has only been loved been truly loved by one person and that was her father. After he was arrested her life goes downhill fast and she never recovers from the treatment of her family members. She continues the cycle with her kids and teaches them everything she knows which is absolute...more

As I read this I found myself gasping ,mouth open shaking my head MANY TIMES... As a Social Justice advocate my ALARM BELLS would not stop RINGING... Not only are their children that have/are enduring this type of ABUSE but it is more PREVALANT today because the "Foster" parent is only looking for their PAY OFF....I couldn't help but think about the kids whom I KNOW have been left to WOLVES....I also found that the writting was so VIVid only a person with FIRST hand knowledge could have written...more

Wow T. Styles! Raunchy was...a jaw dropper! This book displays horrible parenting in many ways. Harmony was not only mentally but physically abused as a child, which caused her to abuse her own children. She was never showed how to love or really had anyone that showed her any affection, other than the men that she was involved with. All of these reasons allowed her to become the selfish, abusive, and raunchy person that she had become. I would have loved to see Harmony evolve in this book but h...more

Raunchy is the story of Harmony Phillips. Harmony starts off as a sweet and innocent little girl who loses it all when her mother takes her away from the lap of luxury. From then on Harmony is introduced to a world of sex, lies, and alcohol. Suffering from the abuse her mother and Grandmother inflict on her, Harmony begins to spiral out of control.
I gave Raunchy by T.Styles a well deserved 5 stars. The story was heartbreaking with the stories of abuse, pain, and suffering. Can't wait to see wh...more

This has had to be one of the best urban books that i've read in a long time. The mom was nuts then turned a daughter that wasn't even hers into something far worse

This book was just off the chain! To even think a mother could do such things to her own flesh and blood is beyond me!

Harmony Phillils was the daughter of Cornell Phillips and Estelle Poiter. Harmony had everything any little girl can dream of, but everything happen so fast in a blink of an eye. While everybody was doing them Estelle was turning snitch on her boyfriend Conrnell, she already had everything planned out. Cornell went to jail and Harmony and her mother went to stay with Shirely Estelle mother. Every thing was going all bad for her there. Estelle envy Harmoy, shit she hated her and she showed her ev...more

This is deep and don't judge the book by its cover. It is one of the most heart wrenching book I have ever read. You need to have an open mind to read this.

Couldn't get into it. I do not enjoy reading about child abuse. Also i prefere "cleaner" language. Guess it's too raunchy for me.

I need to look up the definition of raunchy! All I kept thinking is this book is very disturbing! But I couldn't stop reading to find out the why's, what's, who's and how's. It kept me intrigued. The first part of the book I didn't know if I'd make it through because of the level of disturbia it had me in but I figured it had to get some what less disturbing as the story carried on. I'll be reading the rest of the series to follow along on Harmony, Jace, Kali and the twin's lives. I know it will...more

"Raunchy" was a good book. It seemed very rushed in the last ten pages. Alot of information to take in in a short amount of reading. I can't wait for the second book. I enjoyed all the twist and turns and the development of the twin sisters from the middle of the book until the end. Although, I knew 75% in that there would be a reason why the girls were soooo different and I was correct. T. Styles did an oustanding job with this story, IMO.

Kudos to T. Styles for a great read although entertaining, this book was a little to far fetched and over the top for me, but then again most fiction books are. My heart went out to some of the characters in this book but it was one that I hated which almost made me hate the author..lol. I thought I'd humor myself and download part.2. It's just that I'm nosey like that and want to at least find out if there are any inspirational parts or ending.

I feel sick for actually liking this book lol It was sick, not for the weak stomach or overly-emotional. It was good though! I was hooked from the beginning. definitely a page turner. I wasn't feeling the ending though. I see Harmony as a victim more than a bad person so I am curious to see what is going to happen to her in part 2 and how she got to the mental hospital.

You never know a person's pain until you walked a mile in their shoes, but then again these shoes are too bruised, The mother from Push has nothing on Harmony, T. Styles went out the box on this one
