This is the 5th book in the second series about the 4 Clans of Cats; Warriors the New Prophecy. Once again it was okay. I am finding myself just wanting to be done with these books so I can move onto something better. I think this book can aptly be described as a teenage soap opera where all of the teenagers are cats.

This book deals with the cats settling into their new territories and trying to find a Moonstone so that the medicine cats can communicate with the Star Clan. All the medi More...

I completed this one in fairly short order this weekend, mostly on Sunday when I was letting my back recuperate after helping move some friends into their new apartment on Saturday. I surely did need the downtime! Anyway, this book is the 5th of this second series of books about a large group of anthropomorphic cats living in the wild, divided into four clans, and experiencing the harsh realities of life.

This book in my mind is a bit of a filler before the 6th and final book of this More...

In this book many very exciteing things happen. Leafpool falls in love with a wind clan cat(I will not reviel the name). There are lots of complications though. Leafpool can't fall in love because she is a medicine cat and they are not aloud to fall in love, espetialy a cat from another clan. Squirrelflight trusts Brambelclaw less and less the more he trusts Hawkfrost. I cant blame him though. Leafpool runs off with the other cat from wind clan so the can be togeather. On there way they meet More...

Technically 3.5 stars, but I refuse to give four because the relationships were all so forced.

Much better than the previous few. This one had good pace and some really good ideas such as the difficulty with the clans helping one another. The kitty romance would have worked better had I believed either of these characters really cared about each other beyond the fact that the authors told me so. I'm also disappointed to be denied Brambleclaw's perspective, but I suspect that will be the More...

Wow, such an amazing book. Seriously, it was awesome. I didn't like the cover and it was honestly a real mess, but that was the cover artists fault, not Erin's, so I'm not dropping down a star because of that. The actual plot in this book was really good and there was quite a lot of medicine cat related stuff and because I love medicine cats, I loved this book. It was very emotional near the end, but a good book should be emotional and make you feel for the characters, or so I believe. I won't r More...

In this book Leafpool falls in love with another cat from another clan. The warrior code forbides that no cat can have a mate from another clan. Even worse Lafpool is a apprentice medicin cat so she cant mate cats from her own clan but in the end she tries to escape With Crowfeather the cat she loves. But then Midnight the Badger finds them and says that tons of badgers are coming to attack tha clans when she returns the camp is beign attacked and then Cinderpelt (Leapools mentor) is killed by a More...

the new territory brings trouble to the clans and leafpool makes a dicision to fall in love with another cat (crowfeather). as a medican cat, they were not aloud to fall in love at all especually a cat from another clan. she gets cought meeting with crowfeather and decides to leave the forest and that meaning she would have to leave her medican cat life behind and speaking with starclan. but the prophecy blood will spill blood and the lake will run red, still haunt her. she decides to come back More...

There are new troubles for the fierce cats of the warrior Clans. Dangers they have never faced, and should never have to face again, are lurking in the shadows, the Twilight shadows. Allies of the past are acting strangely hostile. Now that divisions between the Clans grow deeper, Firestar's daughters face troubling decisions. I have just finished reading Warriors the New Prophecy: Twilight by Erin Hunter. This story, like the one before it, revolves around Squirrelflight and her sister Leafpool. While Squirrelflight is wondering if she is beginning to trust Brambleclaw again, Leafpool is faced with her love for Crowfeather that is not meant to be. Leafpool begins to meet him at night and learns secrets of her friends: Brambleclaw who is meeting his blood thirsty father, Tigerclaw, in his dreams and Mothwing who doesn More...

I love these books ... there seems to be no end to the suspense and drama that enters into the plots. As the clans, who learned to work together as one to survive, settle into their new territories, they are beginning to revert to their divisions and hostility toward the rival clans. Friendships seem strained and, as Shadow Clan's apprentice medicine cat runs away with a WindClan warrior, Midnight's warning arrives too late. An unexpected enemy is preparing to attack and no one knows it is co More...

This book was a really great book! It was about Brambleclaw and Squirrlflight getting into quarrels about Brambleclaw and Hawkfrost hanging out with each other. Hawkfrost is Brambleclaw's half brother and she doesn't trust him because Tigerstar was his father. On the other hand Leafpool is tring to choose over her clan and her true love. Leafpool is a medicen cat and they're not allowed to fall in love. Who will she pick? If she goes with her true love will she ever go back while the clan More...

MIND BLOWING! great stuff, I really loved this book. Some cats must make tough decisions and there's some forbidden love, and love triangles - quite eventful in my opinion. Sad ending. I must warn others that it would be confusing without background information if you just jumped into the series without reading it from the start. It's the best series but only if read them in order. READ WARRIORS!!!

Well, it's a long story why I read this #5 book of a kid's series that I have not read any of before, involving my boss and her son. My comments on it: An okay kid's book, but not great. This series is populated with feral cats, yes HOUSEcats, living in the wild in clans/tribes. A bit heavy with moralizing such as characters' immature thinking followed by immature actions/choices, followed by foreseeable (to adults) consequences. Fun aspects include the illustrations of cat names, communica More...

Title: Twilight
Author: Erin Hunter
Series: Warriors: The New Prophecy
Published: 2006
Reviewer's Note: I listened to the audiobook to get through this title in the second Warrior Cats series, so my review will be about that instead of a printed copy of the work.

The narrator for the audiobook really threw me off. I didn't imagine any of the cats having accents coming from the British Isles. Then again, it's never confirmed where the Warrior Cats books take place, so I'm More...

Twilight-- Fifth book of the New prophecy series. This one was a fun read, and when I met vicky she told us this cover was the ugliest, since it looked like scared cats that have been eaten and are in intestines and not rocks! Everyone laughed!

Leapool falls in love with a cat from another Clan then her own (Crowfeather is his name. He has 'feather' at the end of his name because he loved a cat named Feathertail that died during the journey to the sun-drown place). They have to make a decison to leave there clans and have a life of loners. On there way they meet the wise badger Midnight. Midnight tells them that her kin is going to attack there camp and so the two cats rush as quick as they can to the ThunderClan camp and find that a More...
