A fun book in a funny series for young readers. My son, who is 10, really enjoyed this book. I like some of the characters in this series and enjoy sharing the books with my son. This one, like the others, did have some things that were unbelievably disgusting. The book includes discussion questions at the end as well as a sneak peak of the next book.

I am currently reading Goop Soup by David Lubar. The main character in this book is Nathan Abercombie. Nathan Abercombie is a zombie who accidentally drank "Hurt Be Gone," which is a potion that makes you a zombie. In the book, Nathan works with a secret agency called BUM. At BUM, Nathan tries to get enough respect from BUM to help him become mortal again.
Nathan is very generous and helpful to everyone he knows. For instance, in chapter 3, Nathan helps BUM catch the secret agency RABID and turn
I liked this book because it's funny and I think Nathan is so wacky and weird. His adventures are hilarious.
I really love the Nathan Abercrombie series. I grabbed the first one at a Scholastic Bookfair at the school where I worked. And it's awesome!
