Supposed to be erotic sex. Not as hot as it could have been due to lack of emotional development.

Anna is a countess in Germany in 1799. She is a widow, beautiful, and wealthy. She hasn’t had a lover for two years. As a birthday present her cousin arranges for Anna to visit a man for sex. She must wear a blindfold. She has great sex, wants more, and doesn’t know who he is. There are more sexual visits. The sex is ok. The plot is ok. But it’s too short to do anything interesting.

In this conclusion to the trilogy Anna and James meet up again. I love that the two of them stay true to their characters, yet still find an HEA. I do think this trilogy needs to be read together and in order get the most enjoyment out of it.
