I'm telling ya, if I see another book with a character name with an extra H or Y (like Rhage or Vypher or Zsadist etc. ad nauseum), I'd going to hold a ceremonial burning. This was a new author to me, and I missed the telltale signs in the back blurb. I think Laurel Hamilton has much to answer for, not the least of which is the increasing tendency of this subsubsub-genre to tilt over into porn.

Now, I like good sex scenes. What I don't like is a thin plot and thin characterizations as an excuse f

Obsession Untamed was definitely better than its predecessor but not as sexy. In a sense though, I don’t know that I enjoyed it as much. Maybe because it lacked that train-wreck quality that just keep us reading.

After the battle at the end of Desire Untamed, the Feral Warriors realize that Tighe’s clone ran away, spiriting away half his soul. This is a big problem for Tighe – not only is his control and life in danger while his soul is split, but also the clone decides to terrorize the human pop

Obsession Untamed, by Pamela Palmer, is not a bad book. A quick, easy read. While you have to roll your eyes at some of the names, and some of the slightly silly rituals, the story of Tighe and Delaney is a decent one.

In the first book of the series, all of the Feral Warriors are cloned by their enemies, in the hopes that the clones can release Satanan (the big bad)from his imprisonment in a knife. All of the clones are killed in battle with the real Feral Warriors, except Tighe's. Tighe's clone

I recommend reading this series in order. If you try to read this book without reading the first one, Desire Untamed, you are going to wonder why Tighe has a clone he is chasing all over D.C. The chasing of the clone that must die is how Tighe finds his love interest, the very human Delaney Randall. Tighe is running out of time he has to find his clone so that he can regain the half of his soul that is keeping the clone animated. No one knows exactly how long Tighe has to regain his missing hal ...more

Hmm I don't know whether it's because I have been out of the paranormal romance game for a while now, or some other reason, but I just find it hard to get going with this genre now a days.
Once I get going and "into" it I am fine, but until that moment I struggle.
In saying that the first part of this book took me a while to get into, but it is probably not the book and more just me. About halfway through I started loving it and the adrenaline starting pumping.
Tighe and Delaney were a good team an

Shifter Tighe is a very likable character and was one of my favorites in the first book. He's funny and flirtatious but he becomes darker and more unstable when a mage splits his soul in two and creates an evil clone that has started to kill humans. Delaney is an FBI agent and gets caught up with Tighe and the Feral Warriors when Tighe's clone tries to kill her. I had mixed feelings towards Delaney. I thought Tighe was able to get her to do whatever he wanted to quickly. She is intellig

Obsession Untamed is the second book in the Feral Warriors Series by Pamela Palmer. After an exciting first book, I was anxious to pick up where we left off. I had a soft spot for Tighe after Desire Untamed since he seemed to be like a big brother to Kara. He was sweet, but he was just as strong and vicious as Lyon when needed.

This book certainly took it up a notch -- especially in the violence. I will say that some scenes were graphic and might not be for all readers. The kitchen scene in parti

The Feral Warriors is a dark and sexy series; every page will leave you craving for more of these delicious warriors.

The series focused on a group of fine warrior males with troubled pasts that meet and fight for their lady loves, which is not as easy as it sounds. Each novel focuses on a different warrior and their HEA.
To balance out the romance and keep the story entertaining there is suspense and action; with the nine Ferals figh

I totally loved this book. Tighe, a tiger shifter, is also a Feral Warrior defending the human race against daemons. All of the Feral Warriors were cloned by the evil witch Zaphene and every one of them was killed except Tighe's double who is now on a rampage killing humans for power. Tighe has the ability to see what the clone is doing through the clone's eyes. When FBI agent Delaney Randall starts having visions of the serial killer's next crime, Tighe is able to see the visions as well.

Delaney is searching for a serial killer and Tighe is searching for the clone who stole half his soul - the same person. They meet, fight, then eventually fall in love. I didn't care for Delaney for at least half the book, probably more than half. She was so combative and instead of listening to her gut or her heart, she just kept saying, "I'm in the FBI and this is what I do. So what that they shot Tighe through the heart, he should not have run." Yes there are some tears but not enough for me. ...more

This book was pretty good.

I really liked Tighe. I'm not sure if it was his introduction in the first book or what, but I just genuinely loved him and everything about him. Delaney had moments where she annoyed me, but when I looked at things from her perspective and what little she knew to be facts it was a bit easier to understand her actions. Once she was told everything she accepted things pretty darn well which made her much more likable. I was happy with how things ended up.

Really enjoying this series! I was glad Tighe's story was the second book because I really liked him in the first. I love the Feral warriors and can't wait to read Paenther's story! I am also looking forward to how the dynamics in the house change with the addition of another mated pair. I'm glad Kara has a friend, and that Delaney will be able to feel useful to her new family.

Book 2 - Tighe. From the get-go, it irritated me that this book was about a tiger shifter, but the cover shows a mountain lion. For some reason, this bugged me every time I opened the book. I enjoyed the story as much as the first one and will continue with number 3.

This is the second book in the Feral Warriors series. When I read the first book, I loved the world, but felt that the story fell a little flat in the middle part of the story. This book seemed to do the same, but to a lesser degree.

In the first book we saw that the Feral Warriors had their souls split and then cloned by their enemies the mages. All of these clones were killed in battle at the end of Desire Untamed except for Tighe's. His clone escapes, and if the clone is not killed, the real Tighe will die.

In this book, we see Tighe's clone go slaughter crazy and kill a bunch of humans while the Ferals chase their tails (heh) trying to stop him. They're constantly 1 step behind.

Enter FBI agent Delaney Randall. She's hunti

Tighe is the only Feral Warrior whose soul wasn’t freed after the battle with the evil witch Zaphene, because his clone could escape them. Now this clone is loose among the human population and is killing people on the way. Tighe has to find his clone and free the other half of his soul or he will die soon. Because he is connected to this clone, Tighe is having visions of all the murders his clone have done, which helps him narrow the search a little. But with the last murder something changed, ...more

"Obsession Untamed" by Pamela Palmer was the second installment of the Feral Warriors series. It was a fast-paced and erotically charged story that was very entertaining all the way to the end.

FBI agent Delaney Randall is having visions of a sadistic murderer who is killing without mercy or conscience in the D.C. area after he attacks and nearly kills her when she stumbles on one of his kills. She doesn't know how to stop these gruesome visions, but when feral warrior Tighe abducts her from her

What happened last time ...

Zaphene turned out to be a Mage. She had manipulated the Feral Warriors, particularly Foxx into helping her carry out her plans, inadvertently. The first step was having Foxx bring the Daemon blade to the summoning. The next was capturing Kara for her Radiant's blood. Zaphene had managed to create clones of the warriors, soulless, bloodless killers. The warriors managed to kill all of them, except one ... Tighe.

And here is where the story continues ....

This is the second book of the Feral Warriors series. This book is about Tighe. He is a shape shifting Tiger. He meets FBI agen Delaney. In the first book Tighe finds that he is hoping the Radiant picks him, but she doesn't, she picks Lyon. In this book a mage clone takes over half his soul. He spends a good portion of the story trying to get the clone and trying to get his soul back. During this time he falls for Delaney. Okay, I'll say it. I'm officially hooked on Palmer's Feral Warriors Series. Obsession Untamed is the second novel in the Series, and tells the story of Tighe, and his fascination with Delaney, who just happens to be human. As with the first book in this series, I really enjoyed this story and couldn't put it down. Let's see, where to begin.... Not only did I like Tighe's and Delaney's characters, but I enjoyed revisiting Lyon and Kara, and finding out more about the other Warriors. As with the f ...more

Obession Untamed is the 2nd in the Feral Warrior series and for this reader THE LAST!!!! As I stated in my previous review of the 1st book in the series Desire Untamed these books are more Satanic Horror than than Paranormal. FBI agent Delaney Randall is tracking a Serial Killer in the Wash., D.C. area. Tighe is Feral Warrior whose story start at the end of the 1st book. Tighe has lost half is soul and of course it is the serial killer. The reason I believe these books are Satanic Horror is beca ...more

This is a face paced, action filled, sexy novel that I read in 2 sittings.
A bunch of sexy, immortal, 6ft 6in+ guys living together, demons, a clone, the threat of unleashing Satan, steamy sex and an FBI agent with lots of emotional baggage all come together in this the second of Palmer's Feral Warriors series. If this sounds familiar, you're probably a fan of either (or both) J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series and/or Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series. Whereas these series

This the story of Tighe, the Feral Warrior of the Tiger. He's the one who in the first book got his soul split and had the 'evil' part of him run off.
That evil clone is now serial killing throughout DC and has FBI agent Delaney Randall hunting him.
Tighe had been seeing visions of the clones kills, but after D is caught and almost killed by the clone, she begins to see them instead.
Tighe goes to see her and they begin to feel a connection but if he is unable to control her mind he'll have to d

In the previous book, Desire Untamed, all of the Feral Warriors had their soles split in half when the mage, Zaphene, had them cloned through ancient mage magic. All of the other clones were killed in the battle at the end of that book except for Tighe's. His clone, for whatever reason, seems to have a higher intelligence and will to survive than the others had, and is currently out waging destruction on the general populous. It seems to know it needs to stay away from Therians, who would be its ...more

I really like that each of these books focus on a different warrior. That being said, if you have not read Desire Untamed, you will have a hard time following this book. So much happens in the first book that you really need to understand the world that Pamela Palmer has created before diving into this one. While I thought the first book in the series was good, I found this one amazing. I'm not sure if it's because I know more about the Feral Warriors world or if it's simply because I adore Tigh ...more

Wild is the perfect word to describe these warriors and the perfect way to describe this book.

Delaney is all about control and keeping her cool under pressure, but she is not feeling in control anymore since a sick serial killer found their way into her head. She was a great character to read about and I couldn’t help, but get emotionally tied to her and Tighe. The author is very descriptive and I cringed at some of the vile things that this killer did, but I was also fanning myself at some of

“Tighe took control of his thoughts.
“You need to use the bathroom. When I tell you to, go into the house. Two cats will try to come
in with you. You must let them in. Don’t allow anyone to stop them. Once inside the house, you’ll
go into the bathroom and close the door, pull down your pants, then curl up on the floor and go to
sleep.”
The bastard’s career would be over when they caught him, literally, with his pants down. But he
deserved it for kicking a cat.”
