This was a great book. Very fast-paced with lots of emotion and suspense. I love Carol Ericson's books and "The Sheriff of Silverhill" was a real page-turner. In fact, I finished it in one day. Just couldn't put it done. :-)

Not the greatest book I've ever read. The charachters were interesting and intruiging, but the heavy doses of mystascism weren't really what I was looking for. I felt like this was much more a story about supernatural powers than about solving a string of murders. Overall though I think its a worthwhile read if only for the glimpse of Ute culture represented.

A quick read that takes the reader to Colorado and a mystery surrounding the fascinating history of American Indians ...tied into murder. The author keeps you guessing at every turn as to who the murderer is found the means used to identify the guilty party.
