This one was better than the first because Jorel was the bad guy in the last one. Finding his mate brought out the best in him. I enjoyed it because his mate was a fighter that could take care of herself. Both were able to admit to the feelings they shared

book 2 was nice but i like the first book better, the hero in this book was was high and mighty but the heroine knock him down a couple of notch. despite there issues they manage to give in to one another.

This would have been better if it had been longer with a bit more character development. As this is the second installment, I still felt a bit rushed with the characters.
