I read this medieval morality play (from which Roth's "Everyman" takes it's title) on line. It is short and fascinating...dealing with death and the accounting for our lives that God will some day demand. If you read Roth's "Everyman" - this play is a perfect companion.

Morality plays! Old as civilization almost but timeless in plot and purpose.
