A great collection of essays by strong Oklahoma women. I loved the variety of voices and experiences. Billie Letts' memoir of the fact she was pregnant when she and her beloved husband married...Wilma Mankiller's saga, recounting her political life as a Cherokee leader, several anonymous accounts of recovery from abuse.
