Starlight is a great story for a third grade level, when children are starting to read longer books. The book is a sweet book for young children, especially girls. It teaches a lesson about responsibility and caring for a horse. Children can benefit from reading this book by gaining insight on having responsibilities.
Cute kid's book from Scholastic for a 4-6 year old. My daughter and I used to read it over and over and over and over.....
Note on July 28, 2013: These Breyer books were the first chapter books she read. Maddie considers these little chapter books.
