Reader favorite Lori Foster adds the first
full-length contemporary novel to the Brava erotic romance line, and it's a story that's poignant and funny and searingly sexy in all the right places. Breaking his engagement should make a man's life simpler, but for sinfully handsome Noah Harper it meant defying his grandmother, losing his job, and disappointing everyone who tho

This was a book my sister shoved at me and told me to read. Boy am I glad she did. This was a really awesome book. Grace is not just a little plump. She's a big girl, and once Noah actually starts looking at her, he likes everything he sees. The love scenes were very hot, the hottest I think I had read at that time. I don't tend to find too many of the very erotic type romances as romantic, but this one was. More on the modern romance side, where it's not so much "We're married" at the end of th ...more

Every once in a while you come across a little gem that just puts a smile on your face, and has you engaged from page one.
That is exactly what this book did for me!

This was a short, sweet read and I absolutely loved every minute of it!

I LOVED the characters! Noah and Grace were amazing together, and boy did I ever wish I could be in Gracie's place (especially in the bedroom)!

The evolution of Grace and Noah's relationship was wonderful to read!

I really enjoyed the writing in this book particula
I really thought I was going to thoroughly enjoy Too Much Temptation, but in the end it just didn't grab my attention and engage my emotions the way I had hoped. In my opinion, the story was pretty light on the plot and the characters were underdeveloped and inconsistent. All of the characters seemed to have thoughts, feelings and actions that were as changeable as the weather, making it very difficult for me to fully grasp anyone's motives. There were quite a few scenes that were written from t ...more
Sweet, charming, steamy, quick read. Noah is your typical alpha male, 6’4” of yummy deliciousness. Grace is delightful, funny, driven and unfortunately has some image issues. She sees herself as plump and undesirable. Noah sees nothing but a warm, curvaceous, real woman that is his every fantasy come true. He wants her, she’s willing and they can’t get enough of each other. *Stamps foot* I want Noah for myself!! He never wavers from his want or need for her, tells her as much as he shows her, an ...more

5 Fun and Sensual Stars!!!

This is a Lori Foster favorite and when I seen it was finally released in audio I had to have it!!!

24 year old Gracie is a refreshing, sweet, honest, good hearted, loyal, and loving character and she made me love this book even more than I think I may have. Grace is a personal secretary/PA to Agatha Harper who is Noah’s Grandmother and she has always been in love with Noah.

32 yr old Noah Harper is all alpha, and does what he can to keep his Grandmother happy, inclu

Thank you Julie for sending this to me.

I loved this book!! This one was for the rest of us girls, the fuller figured ones. Just the way Noah treats Grace is so sweet telling her that she is not fat and that she is beautiful just got me!!

Good story and goos hot sex included

He wanted everything that concerned Grace to be his business. He wanted to know that she was safe and happy and that she was…his.

This was such a cute story. Take one very sexy Alpha hero and add a very cute, lovable, and kind heroine and you got a one very enjoyable story. Before you ask, or assume, yes, this is very predictable, but who cares, right? Sometimes you just want to read something for the fun and enjoyment of it without having to worry about what’s about to happen. This i

For the past few days I read few books but closed them becouse my mood wasnt into it... (you know that mood when every book you read missing something but you dont know what?) SO I read the synopsis and thaought this is abit like Perfection by R. L. Mathewson (which is my FAVORITE Contemporary Romance book)

I started reading this book with no hope of like in it... but boy wasnt I wrong. I couldnt put it down, didnt even sleep till i finished it. The book was a bit like Perfection

4 star contemporary romance

I read this book a long time back and whilst browsing through a discussion forum on Amazon, I once again came across this title and had the itch to read it all over again. Lori Foster is an author who writes great stories with lots of humor injected into the romance which makes reading the book a more memorable one. And yes, the sensuality level of her novels are off the charts as well!

Noah is one of the bastard grand sons of Agatha, a woman who is as rich as she is

This was a nice story. It had interesting characters even though the plot was not overly complex. Indeed, it was very basic.

I enjoyed the dynamic between Noah and Grace. He was attracted to her regardless of what she felt about her physical appearance.

Secondary characters:
Kara - an unnecessarily dramatic emotional wreck
Agatha - takes no prisoners battle ax and shrewd negotiator
Ben - devil may care attitude but always concerned about his brother

Foster did a nice job with this book and it was int
I can't decide if I really liked this or if I really really liked it!

Noah is a dominating alpha male but has seemingly been keeping this well hidden. Since he has split from his uptight fiance, he has decided that he has had enough of behaving as other people think he should. He was all set to marry someone he didn't even love because of it and is glad to have had his eyes opened before it was too late.

Grace is a good girl and always has been. She is incredibly caring and hard working, and is co

3.5 stars.

The premise of this book excited me at first with the beginning and most of the middle proving to be kind of fab. But in the end I felt a little bit let down.

Being voluptuous myself, I found myself cheering for the curvy heroine but even I got sick and tired of the author bringing her body shape up in almost every paragraph. It did my head in.

I was set to give this a 4 star rating but the flat delivery along with the cliched ending and constant projections of body issue hang-ups made m

Cute. Grace and Noah are a great pair, but Ben really steals the show. I loved him the best. Yes, the content was steamy, but it was not overdone so that Grace and Noah did not have enough time to build a relationship. Grace started off pretty nice, but she did not make a lasting impression on me. Noah was the perfect man and was the right bit the jealous lover. Kara was kinda dumb and consistently pissed me off, despite the fact that she was a "good person".

Worth a read, though not memorable (e

Terrible book. The heroine was so insecure about her weight and the hero kept telling her stop talking about your weight you are beautiful.

The grandmother character was really annoying she kept trying to control her grandsons' lives and never gave them any compliments, just criticism.

But the worst part was the hero's ex fiancé. He finds her in bed with another man and tells her he'll be a nice guy and let her get out of town before he tells their parents the engagement is off. He even tells her

Glorious Lovemaking!
The sex scenes were perf! nuff said.

Gripping Writing Style listen, the plot line was definitely of the light sort but the story flowed. It was gripping. It was effortless and it was anything but boring!

Noah was strong, determined, mature, protective, handsome, loving and definitely a sex god who worshipped Gracie's body effectively making her open her eyes to her own beauty. I want me a Noah. *sigh*

This book was fabulous I read it in 2 sittings because I just had to get some sleep.
Just finished up and have to say I can't wait to read some other Lori Foster books. Hopefully Ben's book will be next.

Noah is so head over heals for Grace I loved it. He is demanding and forceful in the bedroom and out. I am a softy for a alpha hero Possessive and jealous are my favorite.

I enjoyed the grandmother and the banter between her and her grandsons. The book is a quick read and skims over the boys pas
This is such a great story. It's steamy in a nice way - hot but not prone to some of the ridiculous neo-medical descriptions some erotica resort to. This also has a nice story, and most of the main characters are great also. The grandmother is a manipulative, stupid old witch, and the ex is a limp, wet kipper, and I do think a more satisfying ending would have been the two of them pushed down a well together, but I guess the actual ending is more like real life. The hero and heroine are fabulous ...more

I didn't like how they continued to stay so focused on Grace's weight. If he was so ok with it, the wording chosen seemed less than positive at times. Fleshy, plump, etc got a little redundant and distracting. I enjoyed the fact he fell for a 'real' woman but it didn't have to be so focused on it, if it wasn't a deal for him. I can see Grace focusing on it, but for him to see it and acknowledge it over and over again seemed to take away from the romance of it. I liked Ben's character a lot and w ...more

Plus sized heroine Grace Jenkins is a personal secretary. She's also in lust with her boss's grandson. When Noah Harper, the grandson in question, is disowned by his controlling grandmother, Grace decides that she's the one to 'comfort' him. They do a lot of 'comforting' for the rest of the book.

I gave it four stars for the non-traditional roles and storyline.

I really enjoyed everything about this book. I was a little bit disappointed with the end, only because I felt it was a little abrupt and not as sweet as I was expecting considering the feelings of both Grace and Noah. My only other experience with a Lori Foster book was Jude's Law, which I did not enjoy at all. I chose this book to read to participate in a challenge as it fit the parameters set. I'm really glad that I did as I've found that I really do like Lori Foster's writing and the chemist ...more

I loved this book! Gracie was such a refreshing unique character to me and she made the whole story come alive. Noah was so set in his ways, and so sure of the road ahead of him that when Gracie finally stepped up and put herself in his path, it knocked him through a loop. Gracie was an overweight and insecure woman and doesn't realize her appeal, or even that she has any. She has this amazing personality and to watch her come alive through the eyes of the characters was a beautiful thing to wat ...more

I couldn't give it five stars but I had to give it four because BIG GIRLS RULE! I was totally with Grace. Like her, I've felt invisible and been interested in men who saw me as nothing more than a friend. I commiserated with her about knowing men don't flirt with big women. Just like her I tend to admit my weight issues before anyone can thrust them on me. It really makes you oblivious to the men who might truly be interested. I love that she wasn't wimpy. Being shy is okay but it's also apparen ...more

This was a hot little number! The only Lori Foster I have read before was from a book of three short stories by three different authors. I am so glad I decided to read this book. It was full of sizzling chemistry. This was the first book in a two part book series. The next book will be Never Too Much which I hope to get to soon.
I loved how Grace was a "bigger" girl in this series. It gets tiring sometimes always reading about these model skinny girls who we all know can get any man they want. He

I love it when I find a book where the main female is not stick thin and model pretty but instead has the same weight, looks, "he'd never notice me" hangups that most of us have/had. The qualities of her male characters are every woman's dream. They are all muscle and bad ass on the outside and kind, caring and sensitive on the inside. What I like about Lori's books are that she writes love stories that aren't far fetched from reality. Grace is a woman who really knows what she wants but can't p ...more

Overweight heroine gets the hero. Yeah Lori Foster!

Grace has always been in love with Noah and when he offers a no strings attached sexual relationship, she jumps at the chance to have any part of him. As you and I both know that Noah will fall for Grace. It's the journey that is exciting and wonderful and the sex is very explicit - she is his sex slave after all. :)

Our full-figured heroine gains self-confidence and sexual freedom and our hero falls mightily and finds the woman he's always need
Heroes & Heartbreakers
In 2002, Lori Foster introduced us to Grace Jenkins in Too Much Temptation. Grace and Noah’s story isn’t about weight. It’s about broken engagements and family and secrets and self-esteem problems stemming from many things, including the heroine’s weight. It’s about standing up for what (and who) you believe in, just saying NO to people who want to dictate the course of your life (no matter how well meaning), and it is about steering clear of all kinds of perils—family perils, professional peril ...more

This was a great read! Funny, cute and heavy when it needed to be.

Grace seemed waaayyy too cool for someone who's been in love with Noah for years and then becoming his "sex slave"

And also it irked me that Grace was so self conscious about her weight and size. It's constantly being repeated in the book that she's not thin by current thin standards (stick, unhealthy size 2 thin) but not as big as she imagines herself to be (her doctor even declared her "fit" for goodness sake!) but then when Gra

“Ben grinned, showing a dimple in his left cheek and strong white teeth. "Hi Gracie."

"Ben." At this rate, Grace expected to burn herself up with embarrassment. "If you'll just turn your back, I'll escape to the ..." She drew to a verbal halt, unwilling to admit that her clothes were scattered over Noah's bedroom floor. "I'll dash down the hall and dress."

"I dunno," Ben teased. "I'm awful curious now. You say you're wearing Noah's underwear?"

Noah, the rat, just grinned. "She looks real cute in them, too."

"S'that right?" Ben started toward the sofa.

Grace's heart did a somersault at his feigned approach. "Ben Badwin, you turn your back right now!"

Ben stopped and turned to Noah. "She's screeching. I never heard Grace screech before."

"Yeah." Noah nodded, watching Grace thoughtfully. "But then, she's had a rough night."

"Noah!" The two of them together were enough to fluster any woman.

He winked at her. "Get your mind out of the gutter, honey. I was talking about Agatha firing you."

“Ben narrowed his eyes. "You love that restaurant."

"So does Noah."

He shook his head impatiently. "No, I mean I thought you loved it too much to let it crumble."

Agatha stepped out from behind the desk to pace. "I don't think that will happen. Noah will return before it does. But. . ." She looked up and held Ben's gaze. "It's worth the risk."

Because she loved Noah. Oh, Ben doubted she'd ever admit it, she was such a crusty old witch, but it was there in her faded blue eyes, in the strain on her aristocratic face. Ben turned away from her to run a hand through his hair. Everything was suddenly more complicated.”
