Fr Hogan's book provides a concise and fair discourse on JPII's Theology of the Body, without any bells and whistles or controversy. He breaks down the former Holy Father's series of talks into six sections, and briefly explains the teachings and how they relate to current Church teaching and understanding of human sexuality from a phenomenological perspective. A straightforward summary of the Theology of the Body, a great way to get the scope and content if you don't have time to read through the whole set of addresses yourself.
Interesting concepts. I think the author complicates the simplicity of the pope's message but it does challenge you to veiw people and their actions differently.
