In his newest collection of original poems, Robert Weinstock sifts through everything from Brontosaurus burgers to T. rex kisses, and all with the same vibrant and hilarious flair of Food Hates You, Too. So grab a shovel and dig in.

Adorable!! What child does not like dinosaurs and these dinos are very silly. The paleontologists and cavemen are too! Great vocabulary words, cool alliterations, it is a one of a kind book. The pictures are great, fanciful, delightful. Weinstock is quite the artist. I will search for his books to read to children.

If I hadn't read this one the same day as Dinothesaurus: Prehistoric Poems and Paintings it probably would have gotten three stars ... because some of them really are cute.

Just not quite at Douglas Florian's level.

A possible purchase though I think in the end it would be used more for browsing. Not as much lesson possibility in it.

This is a really fun collection that would integrate well with a science/history lesson. Poems are entertaining and teach about coprolite (dinosaur poo), neanderthals, and prehistoric peoples and creatures. Grades 2-5
This humorous anthology celebrates prehistoric topics like dinosaurs, cavemen, and archaelogical digs. While the concept is better than the execution, this book will appeal to kids who may avoid poetry books.
