I'm a fan of weird tales in the vein of H.P. Lovecraft and Clark Ashton Smith and especially like stories about encounters with the unknown in the most unexpected places. However, these stories aren't about alien horrors from other dimensions. They read more like old-fashioned ghost stories, very traditional in theme and presentation. And that's fine. There's nothing wrong with the classics. With 27 stories, most horror fans should find at least a few tales that appeal to them.
