Janet
A good read - it really is.

Written from the perspective of a 14 year old Auckland schoolboy, who is visiting the Pink and White Terraces with his father.

The book in diary form describes the country, the region and the eruption as one living through it.

Although, a young adults book, it is suitable for any age wanting a quick historical based story about the Tawawera eruption, live in the thermal area of New Zealand during this period.
