This was a lovely read but very short . With a blind H , I was expecting something different but this turned out to be a typical HP . It was more like 3 stars , I dunno why I gave it 4 .

Book starts with h revealing about her pregnancy , H is not some anonymous stranger who was so vulnerable and in pain about his blindness anymore but a confident billionaire who has accepted his defaults . h is a journalist n H misunderstands that she slept with him for a story ( Nay , ntn new here ) . H soon com

Read this two months before the publishing date. And I have to say it was the first time I did that and I loved it.
This book was awesome but also sad. The drama was good without being OTT.
The hero well he is complicated and at first I was very "are you fur real here dude!?" However, the more he interacts with the heroine and you get a glimpse of his inner workings you come to realize that he is one very emotionally damaged guy. Never mind the blind part because I that not even the issue. Even

Hero and heroine spend one night together, she ends up pregnant, hero proposes a MOC but of course heroine falls in love with him. When our blind hero regains his eyesight heroine is afraid he will go back to his actress girlfriend the woman he was about to marry before his accident.

Very romantic heartwarming love story. Epilogue totally melted my heart! I even liked hero's bitchy ex. She brought delicious angst. I loved to hate her! The heroine was adorable like most Kim Lawrence heroines and t

This was nothing special or different as far as Harlequin Presents, but it was a pleasant read. I gave it four stars because I reall like Kim Lawrence's writing, although it probably is more like 3 stars. Definitely a book for those who like blind heroes although he does recover his sight about halfway through the book. Heroine has a bit of an inferiority complex. She sounds pretty attractive, but seems to measure her petite, violet-eyed, redheaded look against tall, stacked blondes. I was think ...more

This book was really hard for me to get into. Sam’s rambling thoughts distracted me from the story. I was glad I kept reading. There were places that this story really tugged at my heart.

Samantha’s brother was sick with the flu, and she agreed to clean for him. Everyone warned Sam not to go into one of the guest rooms. The stranger never came out of his room, and wanted to see no one. When she walked into that one room, it was in total disarray, and she went to work cleaning it too. After she w

The hero was blind when he met and made love with the heroine. When the heroine shows up at his office after finally knowing who he was, she told him she was pregnant. The hero was in shock but demanded marriage, eventually the heroine gave in. Then by some miracle the hero regains his sight and now he will fight to keep his beautiful heroine in his life forever because he loves her.
I thought I picked up something good when I read that the hero was blind. It wasn't really an issue in the book after the first twenty or so pages, and this ended up being just like every other Presents novel I've read this summer. Sadface.

Decent enough story of an unexpected baby with the twist that the expecting father is blind. Sam has one night with Cesare with the "usual" consequences (at least in HP-land), then has to decide whether or not to take Cesare up on his offer of marriage.

Samantha, the heroine, made this book amazing. I adored her pluckiness and her quick tounge. She reminded me of myself. Hide your hurt and insecurity behind all the sass you can give.

Sam meets and sleeps with Cesare, a client in her sister-in-law's rental property, while helping out as a cleaner. Twelve weeks later, she shows up at his office to give him some surprising news. However the surprise is on her. He's blind.

Cesare cannot forget the girl she slept with in Scotland and when she shows
It was a good story but.........d:|

The story itself was fine, as well as the characters. The problem? Way too much internal dialogue. 2 pgs of thoughts for one line of conversation. There were times I lost the thread of conversation because there was so much junk in between......... I like both POV's being represented, but this was overkill, my kindle was turning pgs at the speed of light. If you took out the excessIve thoughts, it would probably be a 90-100 pg book. Not my cup of tea..........d

This was a really enjoyable read and the romance element was well done. I got a little annoyed by the hero constantly keeping secrets from the heroine 'cos I didn't see the point of it, and I didn't like that he contrived to get her sacked from her job so she'd marry him and that she forgave him so easily, but there was no excess of melodrama surrounding these issues which was nice to see. Characters you can get behind and an interesting take on the unexpected baby plot line made this a good rea ...more
usually starting a book u can predict is it worth reading for you and this sentence made my decision
Kissing a gorgeous man who didn’t want to be kissed might be something that any number of women her age could laugh off with a shrug, but Sam did not possess that skill.
I prefer stronger,a bit bitchy or vivid heroines with tortured heroes, but this is still enjoyable, well written read for escape in cold days...

I loved this book very much, especially the h, she was awesome. She made me laughed so much. I loved how she talked back to H niahahahahah. Poor H, he had no chance. The story was in no way wishy washy, the type ' heroine feels pity for the blind hero..... etc etc' You could feel their chemistry. The H was so yummy :p I so loved the ending #sodreamy
I loved it and I am surprised that some people don't think so much of it. I found it the same and yet different from other Harlequin books. That heroine was adorable and the hero was definitely hero-material!!!

While this plot has been done in many ways, I liked the way that the hero handled conflict. Quick romance. Good writing style.

Though lacking much authentic Welsh blood, Kim Lawrence comes from English-Irish stock. She was born and brought up in North Wales. She returned there when she married, and her sons were both born on Anglesey, an island off the coast. Though not isolated, Anglesey is a little off the beaten track, but lively Dublin, which Kim loves, is only a short ferry ride away. Today they live on the farm her ...more
