After awhile these decorating books all look the same. But this one had good detail showing how to put a room together from scratch. Clean designs. Just not sure how they'd look outside of a Manhatten penthouse, or a posh home in Washington DC. So make sure you first start with good architecture and a killer view. Then you can add all the furniture and accessories.

Good home design book for beginners. I have often admired Mitchell-Gold's furniture line and this book follows their design easthetic.
