I love this series for kids who like the Magic Tree House series. We study the Revolutionary War is SS so I was exited to read it and share with students. This book provided some information about Valley Forge, but little time was spent there. They time hopped to see all branches of military to convince GW to remain the leader of the Continental Army. I did learn the name of Washington's horses. I also loved how they mentioned the villain was hanging out with Benedict Arnold. Kids will find that ...more

I like this historical fiction book because while it provides historical context, it also suggests that even people seen as great heroes are human and have moments of doubt. Finally, the idea that kids can persuade such a great man will inspire students that they can be heroic no matter what their age is.
This book is about these four kids who travel back in time to save history. They have two hours in order to complete the mission. In this book they had to convince George Washington to stay at Valley Forge and George Washington was stubborn so it wasn't easy. So will the four kids convince stubborn George Washington before time runs out or will they stay in George Washington's time forever. I thought the book was kind-of cool and kind-of boring at the same time. That's why I put a four star rati ...more

I am the author of more than fifty books for kids and tweens. I love writing, reading, and ice skating! Especially the skating. I'm not a great skater, but I work at it all the time.

I write adventure, mystery and time travel. The best writing advice I ever received was to write the kind of story you'd like to read. That's what I do!

I have original stories that I make up and I also write movie nov
