Pretty good, fats-paced book about Three ships, one a giant airship, the second an old tugboat sort of thing with an incredible amount of luck, the last, a giant indestructible mechanical warship that prowls the North sea looking for prey. Good read!
A pirate ship that never reaches port. A castaway on a deserted island. A steampunk-ish airship and automaton warship. A sea monster. And one adventurous boy. It all adds up to an entertaining and fast-paced story. A fun read.
a fastpaced book about a boy who falls out of his father airship, and into a ship full of villans. A great story with fun characters and good twists
I dont remember if I finished this book, or not..
This book was a little boring and slow. It did not really catch my attention and I could not really finish it until my Dad read it to me at night. I did some of the adventures though.
a sweet little adventure neatly told, but it was not extraordinary the way you want adventures to be
Jack falls out of an airship, landing on a boat of polite pirates. Exciting adventure.

Carol Hughes grew up in England, in a seaside town where her parents kept a small hotel. When she got older, she went to art school to study painting. Not long afterward, she moved to the United States and began writing. She now lives in Los Angeles, California, with her husband and two daughters.
