The universally useful flour blend is fabulous, but I'd like to see more of a switch to gum free flours as it seems they are irritating to the digestion for many people with celiac disease. I also could never get the bread quite right, even after they released a corrected recipe. My pan was a little large, but the bread just had trouble rising. A book with the same philosophy for gluten free cooking that I like, a wonderful flour blend that's not just starch, some great recipes (I tried a bunch before returning it to the library), and great stories.
Recipes are written in a very professional manner with clean, concise and organized flow. A very nice book to add for someone with gluten-allergy, sensitivity or Celiac's disease.
I found this book full of amazing recipes that are easy to follow and delish! Thank you for taking the fear out of gluten free cooking!
The recipes look very normal. Nothing super crazy and most of them are something I'd be willing to try.
