I have found this to be one of the best of the tie-in novels for ALIAS in either the Prequel series or the APO series. While the twist at the end could have been a bit "twistier", I appreciated the fact that the author really made a good effort to make this a developed story based on the series, rather than follow the trend of a lot of media tie-in books that leave the bulk of the detail to said media and the book ends up becoming cursory. The Ghost is an Alias novel written by Brian Studler. It's based on the TV series created by J. J. Abrams that originally aired from 2001 to 2006.

Reading this Alias novel was like watching an Alias episode. Full of action, humour and science fiction-y ("some technologies used in the series place Alias into the genre of science fiction"*). Definitely a good read.

The best one of this series that I've read.

These are usually fairly light, entertaining reading. The author doesn't have to worry too much about background and character development, so it's almost all action. This one kept me guessing for quite a while though and the scenes of Jack hallucinating in the Vietnam jungle were truly disturbing.

Better than I expected.
At first, this seemed less promising then "Namesakes", the other book I've read from this series. But strangley, it was better. Not to the degree that I would give it another star, but still better. I guess the main reason was the major plot twist at the end. I do love them.
