Embassy, by bestselling author Richard Doetsch, is a surprising and utterly original thriller that blends a dash of fantasy with page-turning suspense — and it's available EXCLUSIVELY as a vook.

Embassy tells a page turning, high stakes story that immerses you in the action, with high-quality, original videos integrated into the text to bring the narrative dramatically and

Shelves: abandoned
After having that little flash window in the right hand corner grabbing my unwanted attention multiple times, I bought this for my iTouch. $4.99 app. Abandoned after 1st chapter so I won't comment on the book only the presentation which I found silly. It's possible it would work better on a PC, but I didn't want to spend more money to try it out. Another annoying thing was that the book did not resume where you had left off. I hate that. The video seemed to add little to the content. I suppose t ...more

I wouldn't have thought that an action/thriller would have worked as a relatively short story, but I'd say Richard Doetsch did a good job with it. The only downside for me is that this is a Vook (enhanced content) and the video clips weren't available for me since I read with a regular Kindle. But not having the clips didn't take away from following the story.

Novel about a plot to gain an artifact from the Greek embassy in NYC. A good read.
The issue I got came through VOOK and, on another platform, would have contained little videos associated with the story. Unfortunately, the Kindle didn't support this so I couldn't view them.

The Thieves of Legend arrives November 27th.

Early Praise:
"The Thieves of Legend stole my breath with the sheer audacity of its storytelling, proving yet again that this series gets better with every installment. Bold, richly told, and rollicking with adventure, here is a thriller that demands to be read in one tension-wrought sitting. Count me a fan for life!"
