fans of sexy, but fun Harlequin Presents and Lynne Graham
It's amazing how the arrogant hero becomes the besotted husband in Lynne Graham's books. After seeing Lysander's selfish playboy ways in the other books in this series, I was prepared to dislike Lysander. I actually ended up liking him more than his two friends. At the beginning of this book, he's definitely a womanizing type, bringing his current bed-warmer, a snooty Russian model, to the hearing of Ophelia's grandmother's will. Lynne Graham always makes me greedy about her books.
Surprisingly, so far this is her only book which has a strong and clever heroine. I was getting tired for a spineless, no backbone heroine this author seems to like. So this book came as a surprise for me.
Unfortunately, when the spineless heroine appears, the story was pretty good. And this, when we have a strong heroine, the story is rather flat on the plot. I don't know if it's just my feeling or something but it seems i have a better expecta...more

An interesting story for this kind. Determined to get his hands on Ophelia's house due to a long-lasting family rivalry, Lysander has to do it quickly for his real reason (won't spoil that). Ophelia agrees to the arranged marriage of convenience but from there it's topsy turvy.
Lysander was hard to take a lot of the time. It's arrogance and unwillingness to bend grew old, but he redeems himself as time goes on and he becomes a better protagonist for it. Not my favorite type she's written but not...more

This was a very cute story! I really enjoyed it. There was just the right amount of drama and romance and the story moved at a good-pace. It didn't feel rushed but it wasn't slow either. A good start to the series! I look forward to reading the next! :D

The heroine Ophelia has been left a crumbling house by her grandmother but there is a condition in the will. She must marry Lysander Metaxis who has his own personal reasons for wanting this house. I have had this book in my e-reader for quite sometime. I hesitated reading it because I was worried that this was going to fall into the typical trap of ruthless hero that only finds his way to love on the last page. To my surprise it was not! This was a well written, fun, entertaining read.

Lynne Graham is one of my all time favorite Mills & Boon authors and I loved reading her Virgin Brides, Arrogant Husbands Trilogy, of which The Greek Tycoon’s Disobedient Bride is the first.

The thing I liked most about this book is that it all made sense. There was an actual plot and the story developed along logical lines. It took place over 6 weeks which is a reasonable period of time for a romance to develop in romance land. The protagonists had logical reactions to events and didn't do a great deal of leaping to absurd conclusions. (There was some of course. This is an HP after all.)

Pretty boring Lynne Graham. I just didn't think it had enough dramatic tension -- the only real obstacle they seemed to face was the fact that they weren't sure the other one had feelings for them. Just didn't draw me in for some reason.
Why have I got so addicted to these books!? GAH!! :) SO addicting, in a good way!!

Such a good premise, too bad the story didn't live up to the blurb.
this was a fun book and an easy and quick read. my only complaint is all the unanswered questions.
