Zig Ziglar is one of my favorite motivational speakers. I saw him in person at a 2000 seminar. His See You at the Top book is written at the 5th grade level but the way he gets across his ideas with stories from his personal experiences are engaging, humorous and inspirational, in my opinion.
Fantastic book on sales. Gives lots of references for other books after each chapter. Helped launch my real estate career. His famous saying is "You can get everything you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want"
I read the Arabic edition of this book. The book can simply be summarized in the following phrase:
"It's your ATTITUDE not your APTITUDE that ultimately determines your ALTITUDE in life"

This book is almost "literature", compared to "scientific" style I like. But it has built something new in me, so time for reading this giant was well spent.

Full of inspiration and information about how to live your best life - sorry Oprah, Zig wins. Zig has positively influenced so many of my favorite authors, now I know why.
A fun book Great humour, good but basic insights. It would be great to be able to live like this without driving everyone around me nuts, LOL!

Liked the ideas, but didn't appreciate the occasional Christian and anti-Communist tirade.
Read it back in the 80's. May have been one of the first sales books I ever read.
This was and still is one of the best book i ever read... change my life for the better

I love Zig, he will definately motivate you! His jokes are sooo corny.

Great Book!!!! How to achive the top with people!
See You At the Top was a disappointing read. I chose it because of Zig Ziglar and who he is. Knowing his history, I felt that my reading would be incomplete if I didn't add this book to my list. However, I found it hard to read and keep reading. Much of the material is dated and at times, narrow-minded. Zig Ziglar is an exhilarating speaker. If you are interested, listen to him speak...just leave this book unread.
Required reading for every high school and college studenet!

This is a great book and has some old cliches that ironically still hold true. A classic self help book. Zig Ziglar is an icon and is still doing motivational seminars as of this writing...July 2007. TAcoma, Seattle: July 2007 Get Motivated seminar. Especially good information can be found in chaptor 4... 15 steps to a healthier self image.
I am 56 pages into this book and it so inspired me to want to know more that I have spent the last hour updating my goodreads and applying the principles I have learned in this book. I am kind of afraid of this book though, like the end might advise me to drink kool aid or something

At times it feels like reading a conversation with your grandpa, but the book is incredibly effective at motivating you to want to be a better you. Many of its ideas aren't ground-breakingly new ideas, but much of truth isn't. I highly recommend it.

This is one incredible book! It is a book all about the building blocks to any successful endeavor. It tells a lot of little stories and is very interesting to read. I will TEACH MY CHILDREN from this book!
My Father in Law, Don Christensen took me to see Zig Zigler speak at a motivational seminar in Las Vegas many years ago. Zig is one of the best, and can really pump you up to believe in yourself.
