a lot of this is entertaining, her take on being an east coast woman transplanted to Seattle. Sometimes her discomfort with both groups can come off as a sense of superiority, annoying to me.
Loved this book of essays from a woman very unlike me. Sometimes more political than I liked; sometimes too much talk of rain (she lives in Seattle). BUT classic themes, great reflections on art, love, relationships, bicoastal reflections, family dynamics. Enjoyed it (and Sanelli) immensely.
