I completely enjoyed this book. Sterling and Owen make a great couple. The story is long enough to build the relationship which I appreciated. The interaction between them has such strong chemistry the book is like a meth lab in your hands.

This book is nothing like I thought it would be. To be honest, I was a little frightened of it. It is my first BDSM experience and my first male-male book. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to relate and therefore get nothing out of it. Boy, was I wrong. I loved it!

Bound and Determined pushed my comfort boundaries on the BDSM world, but strange is, not so much for me to not like it. In a way Owen, the dominant in this story, is similar to me, he thinks that a D/s relationship not necessarily means that the submissive has to loose his independency.

I really liked this story. Yes there was lots of hot sexytimes and spanking going on, but I was more impressed with the storytelling. There was a possibility I was going to get bored with this book. Longer BDSM books can slip into being repetitive and boring pretty easily, in my experience. This was not the case at all with this book. I really enjoyed the slow building of the relationship between the two main characters.

Bound and Determined is one of those books that other readers kept recommending to me. I'd review a book by Jane Davitt or a book with a BDSM or D/s theme and nearly every time someone would mention this book as a great book to read. What a great story! Sterling and Owen have such a fascinating relationship and dynamic that it keeps you interested and reading. I also loved a look into the D/s world including the involvement of minor characters who were also apart of the scene and the different types of relationships within it.
Quite a complex story as we watch Sterling deal with things like coming out fully to his family and trying to insert himself into the D/s world.

This book has some mild bdsm and there is an actual storyline! This was a really good book! Sterling had my heart from the beginning. Owen took a couple chapters, but I warmed up to him also. It was nice to take the journey with Sterling as he learned about the BDSM lifestyle. Good Lord I was so turned on by this book. This is flaming hot! Professor Owen makes me feel all melty inside. A profession and student theme is always one to trip my trigger. I have very mixed feelings about this book...
The one thing that i really liked is the way D/s relationship is explored with quite a lot of care and insight. And that is the one and only huge merit of this book, for me.
I absolutely do not care for the way the author(s) chose to end it.

Partially due to plot, but more due to authors' choice, there are not a lot of steamy sex scenes in this book. While I would have enjoyed a little more detail and a little more often, the attraction and D/s dynamics were ever present and kept my attention.
