I really like this series. Even though this is a m/m love story, the continuing plot of the paranormal investigations is a strong element in all the stories. The relationship between Sam and Bo continues to grow and solidify. This story focuses on the interaction and acceptance of Sam by Bo's ex-wife and sons, especially the older boy Adrian who has more in common with Sam than he realizes.

I think this is my favorite of the series so far. It was neat to see more of Bo's kids and the dynamic with his ex. The personal touch made this a lot more interesting than the other "haunting of the week" type plots from the previous books. And of course it's Ally, so the character interactions are great. Good book!

4.5 stars. Very good paranormal m/m romance in which Sam and Bo struggle against Bo's ex-wife in order to help Bo's son control his potentially dangerous telekinesis.

Whoa, and I thought the last book was intense. This one just takes it to another level. Sam and Bo have an established relationship, and Bo's two kids spend time with them. Adrian, however, doesn't seem to care for it, and he's starting to exhibit the same powers as Sam. I was hanging on to the edge of my seat until the very end, because I never knew what would happen next. I hope there are more adventures for Sam and Bo, but it seems like the author will be taking a break from their storyline t ...more

Have really like this series so far awesome storyline not just hot sex (which there is that:) but would definitely recommend this whole series
This series is getting better with every book. In this one Bo's children factor in heavily, which is nice because before the epilogue of the last book, we had only every heard of them, but never met them. This book is nicely paced and a real page turner. Except for one ill placed (and kind of boring) sex scene this book was a real improvement over the rest of the series.

Peeking ahead this looks to be the last book with Sam and Bo as the main characters and I don't feel finished with them. I wan

This is the best of the lot so far. I would not go so far as to say you could start the series with this novel, I think there's too much by book 5 that would need a bit more explaining, but I do feel you wouldn't be totally lost. And the sex is hot as always.

There's a real story, one that touches on a new subject--poltergeists/teen-caused paranormal activity--rather than everything being about the inter-dimensional gates (though of course the gates come into it before the end), and it

Another great instalment in this series. And while some others might find that the author has shown Bo's ex-wife to be a stereotypical bitch, and unnecessarily nasty, I don't think it to be so. In fact, I find ex-wives who have no issue with their husband leaving them for another man to be very odd and unrealistic. I'm glad however, that they come to an agreement where the kids don't continue to suffer!

Finally, I got my wish in this book - Bo's kids played an important role. I wanted to know if the kids would ever be featured in a prominent role. I liked the kids even though they didn't right away accept Sam into their lives - after all how can they wrap their mind around the huge fact that 1) their parents are getting divorced and 2) their dad is gay and already has a boyfriend. The wife of Bo - omg! I would have bitch-slapped her. It reminded me of GA Hauser's female characters. They drive y ...more

My favorite of the BCPI books so far

- This story focuses on Bo and Sam’s relationship with Bo’s sons, and I really enjoyed seeing their interactions. The younger boy, Sean, is sweet and energetic and totally accepting of not only his father’s homosexuality but also his father’s new partner. A lot of what Sean says is very endearing. But it’s the older boy, Adrien, who I found to be the most interesting chara

So far I think this one was my favorite of the series. I liked seeing the interaction between Bo, Sam and Bo's sons. The paranormal elements were pretty proportioned with the sex scenes and made for a fun read. I did have a moment where I thought Bo was bad for Sam. Since reading book 4 I felt that whenever Bo gets angry with Sam he becomes abusive and it's no different in this book when he had angry sex with Sam. It's a bit scary to read. I really liked Adrien and I look forward to get

If you like homo-erotic male fiction with a little supernatural twist thrown in, the BCPI series is great. Some really graphic scenes in both supernatural events & male-on-male encounters. I'd have preferred more events & fewer encounters ... but that's just me.

The BCPI series started out amazing. Big set of characters, paranormal activities and a lot of gay. I'm afraid to say that it went downhill from there on.

BCPI #5 went like this:
Sam and Bo are all lovey-dovey and can practically read each other's minds, that's how much they care for each other. Then Bo's Ex is a bitch or something scary happens that could endangers Bo's sons and Bo is totally shattered. Then he falls into Sam's arms and they kiss and say their I-love-yous and then they're lovey-d

Wanted to shoot Janine and I hated her quick turn around. Still loving Sam though, and Adrien, too. Bo still rather irritates me, and I enjoyed the other secondaries, too.

This was another great addition to this series. Poor Adrian, that was a lot of a little boy to go through but I'm happy that Sam stepped up and helped him. This one was pretty scary with the big bad showing up at their house. I think we are going to see more cooperation & less nastiness between them & Janine; even though I still don't like her.

I've read this entire series and think it's amazing. The characters are so flushed out you might think this was taken from real life. The situations are so clear and concise that you can truly imagine them happening in front of you. All I wanted to do was root for them as a couple and when Bo's son starts exhibiting some telekinesis, I was beyond thrilled!! (that means more books for me)
A real fantastic series that ANYONE who enjoys M/M paranormal with fall in love with!!! Thank you Ally Blue fo
