The Metrosexual

You might be "metrosexual" if:
1. You just can't walk past a Banana Republic store without making a purchase.

2. You own 20 pairs of shoes, half a dozen pairs of sunglasses, just as many watches and you carry a man-purse.

I ended up reading this review of the Noughties in the final few days of the 00's, and the first couple of the 10's. It was pleasant to take some time to reflect on the past ten years and to consider how things have changed.

This was a fairly interesting read for the most part, but there was a lot of it that was rather pretentious, and Footman was rather selective in what he chose to write about... this was in no way a complete look at the decade.

Overview of the noughties, more or less thematically. The attempt is meritorious, but-of course-not really profound. Media, music and lifestyle get a lot of attention, and that makes sense given the background of the author. A good basis for others to build on. Except for the rather confused conclusion.

Tim Footman was very selective in what he chose to write about. Although, i feel this was a good look back at the noughties (the decade I grew up in)
