lawyers and non-lawyers alike
From the time I first encounted this book in a seminar on law and the arts it has been an indispensable resource for providing concise and clear advice on frequently asked intellectual property questions (which are nearly as frequently misunderstood by laypeople and some lawyers). I don't know if more recent editions have solved this problem, but my edition's major flaw is the lack of a comprehensive index.
