The third book in the trilogy is Crossroads Showdown,
another killer is on the lose and once again Frank pulls out all the stops using his power to communicated with the dead to help find the villain. And unlike the other two books where this power or ability if you will Frank possessed was most definitely a second skin to who he was as a person, I feel that it really came alive in book 3 and more of a presence. He needs to channel spirits to help him find out who is taking little girls. High pow...more

Frank McGuire is not a normal private investigator he can call onto his inner spirit to guide him through specific cases. That is why FBI agent Rueben Hayworth has asked for his help regarding three abducted girls from a small town in Virginia. While he is channeling this supernatural ability he gets a vision from a ghost of flashing pictures and a song being played in his head over and over. Finally Frank sees the ghost and she is a young girl named Christine who he believes will help him find...more

At first I was unsure about the whole twist it took with Frank's abilities being able to see and communicate with ghosts. I thought this is a little funked out, but as I read further into the book I thought WOW this is mint! I want, no I need to say I. Want. More. This series has me unglued. What can I say? I'm into the paranormal shite and this just holds it for me.

I'd really like to see where this series goes, but I'm going to fester on it for a short while and then voice them :winks: but not...more

When I read the first two books in the series, I found Frank to be hard to love. The author, a very nice and gracious person, commented on one of my reviews that she knew that some people would find him hard to take but that he would evolve by the end of the series. I’m happy to say that she has not disappointed me. In this book, Frank has turned into someone whom I can really like. He’s begun to admit to himself that he has been a “moron”—his word, not mine. Also, Rand finally comes across as a...more

PI Frank McGuire cannot believe how everything is falling into place. Rand, his lover, is doing well in school, his business is in the black and the visions aren’t part of his dreams, as they once were. When the FBI come calling, Frank knows the blissful peace is about to abruptly end. Three little girls are missing...more

Yes, finally! Although this series has been really good so far, this third installment finally brought out more in the way of Frank's communion with the ghosts, which is what I had been waiting for. Each book really does get better and better.
